Reference wall-penetration distances are up to 100 m through one wall, 80 m through two walls, 60 m through three walls and 40 m through four walls. One-to-one and one-to-many configurations use the same transmission-distance rating. Actual performance depends on wall thickness and materials, antenna placement, local RF interference and installation conditions; reinforced concrete and brick can reduce the range further. Additional receivers are required for multi-receiver setups.

Frequently asked questions

Can other UHF frequency bands be supplied?

Measy states that custom UHF frequency bands can be provided for project requirements.

Why is the transmission range listed as both 100 m and 800 m?

The AU680A can reach up to 800 m in an open area with a clear line of sight. Indoors, walls and building materials reduce the effective range. The reference distance is up to 100 m through one wall, 80 m through two walls, 60 m through three walls and 40 m through four walls.

Can several systems operate in the same area?

Yes. Up to 10 complete transmitter-receiver systems can operate in the same area by default when their channels are configured appropriately. Custom channel planning may support additional systems for project requirements.

Can one transmitter work with multiple receivers?

Yes. One AU680A transmitter supports up to 200 compatible receivers. The transmission-distance rating is the same for one-to-one and one-to-many configurations. Choose the receiver quantity that matches your installation.

Can it be used with instruments such as electric guitars or keyboards?

Yes.
